Well, treatment has already taken its first unexpected detour!
The doctors needed one more day to finalize my radiation plan using the latest MRI. So naturally, we made the most of it!
An incredible brunch at Butters with my brother Tim, his wife Emma, and some wonderful people we met along the way. Then my mom and dad helped turn my first chemo night into a keto fish fry, pajama party, and Tesla campout at their place!
And yes, we rented a Tesla. Since I’m not allowed to drive, and even Linda’s amazing chauffeur skills have their sanity limits, we’re finding some creative ways to get around!
Somehow, even the start of cancer treatment has become another opportunity to celebrate life, family, and God’s goodness.
What a life! What a story!
First chemo down. First radiation this morning. Looking forward to seeing what’s next!
